Dealing with loss is different for different people: we all react in an intensely personal way to the loss of a job, a pet, a spouse/partner, etc. Some people turn to destructive habits like drug or alcohol abuse or try to lessen their hurt and anger through emotional avoidance or by minimizing their feelings. If you have suffered a loss, give yourself time to get over it, try keeping a journal about your feelings and thoughts surrounding the loss, and be sure to acknowledge the emotions you are experiencing. If after doing this, you are still finding it difficult to move on, seek professional help so you can find the resources that will best support you in coping with your loss.
Wishing you peace…
